Talk about a challenge...we built our house on decomposing granite on a mountain side in the foothills southwest of Santa Fe in 2001- during the drought!!  Jeff Clark did our initial landscape design and almost ALL of our plants came from SFGH.  Today we have a lush xeric landscape. In addition to recent rains, I credit the SFGH staff that are so knowledgeable, a plant stock and variety that are outstanding, the catalog and labeling that are so helpful, and the winter lecture series.  I have learned SO MUCH!! Thank you SFGH!! -- Joy Mandelbaum

We wish to express our satisfaction about working with Katherine O'Brien to achieve a beautiful garden for our home. First she wanted to know our preferences and the kind of space we wanted to create, and then she made a drawing to visualize the result. The process was both creative and fun. Working with Katherine was a real pleasure. The garden speaks for itself with a simple and beautiful eloquence. We are both artists so we have an understanding of beauty. Our garden has become a place of peace and harmony in our lives. We can only say "Well done, Katherine!" --Jack and Suzanne B.
